Physical and Occupational Therapy
Physical therapy is the treatment of injuries or disorders using physical methods, such as exercise, massage or the application of heat. The treatment will help improve a person’s ability to move, reduce pain and help restore posture and balance.
Occupational therapy is a treatment that involves the patient in a variety of creative tasks and activities related to daily living. This may include the making of handicrafts (carpentry, pottery, painting, etc.) and expressive activities such as participation in dramatic role playing, music or poetry reading. It may also include tasks we take for granted such as tying your shoes, eating or showering.
